Youtheatre is a local Charitable Organization that pours itself into the community in a variety of ways:
YTM LIVE PRODUCTIONS
With a proven track record YTM’s Live Productions have impacted a wide array of communities, and with the support of key stakeholders we intend on building inroads and cultivating rapport with marginalized people.
STORY WORKSHOPS
YTM has formed an Apprenticeship Program designed to equip and train senior youth and young adults in the art and discipline of Acting. We facilitate ongoing Workshops that explore effective Storytelling tools: Vocal Training, Movement, Imagination, Emotion.
Through these workshops and in-depth discussions, we hope to discover what our individual story is, and together find a voice to speak with; a song to sing through; a body to move and emote; and a vibrant spirit to ignite a story worth investing in, for today and all our tomorrows.
COMMUNITY EVENTS
Through a variety of different of kinds of events YTM brings the people from all walks of life together. It is during these face to face times when we can help one another with challenges and issues, bringing catharsis, and over time strengthening communities and moving forward.
YTM is committed to building relationships and providing a safe place for all peoples to express their story through various artforms such as: drama, music, painting, dance, writing, photography, sculpting, language, fashion, and video.
YTM works with a wide array of people groups, including:
